This article introduces the Three-Layered Approach (TLA), an evidence-based framework integrating Lifestyle Medicine, Integrative Medicine and Natural Healing to help patients make informed decisions in partnership with their healthcare professionals.  A lifestyle based approach to chronic diseases not only addresses the root cause, but also empowers patients to take charge of their journey to remission and good health.
