From Risk to Resilience - Healthy People in Healthy Communities through Lifestyle

Date:

Had the priviledge of speaking to a batch of 60+ officers drawn from different central services attending the mid-Service Training Programme on Whole-of-Government approach for Disaster Resilience and Quality of Living (20-24 July, 2026). Drawing commonality between individual and population health, risks they face and mitigation choices, I spoke about the unrealized potential in advancing health.

Underlining the precious and invaluable nature of health, and explaining how it is measured and created, I shared my perspective on the need for moving from risks to resilience by applying the principles of Lifestyle Medicine at individual and population levels.

Earlier in the morning, I conducted a wellenss hands-on session covering lifestyle, diet and yoga for the participants.
